How tags work
Tags are short labels attached to a player — examples: Goalkeeper, Left-foot, Returning camper, Tryout invite. They show on the trainer roster so coaches can spot context at a glance, and they can be used by themes for optional age/skill targeting.
Most tags are ours alone. Show to families turns one into something the family sees too: a chip beside that child's name when they open the app — how Fusion reaches them. Leave it off for anything you'd rather say in person.
Deactivate instead of deleting — historical player records still need to reference the tag. Inactive tags stop appearing in pickers but stay visible where they were already applied.
